We all need someone to talk to! Life can be challenging and sometimes just reaching out for "a soft place to land" can be very beneficial. I have been in practice for many years and have worked with various age populations. Although the mind and body goes through some aging processes, the central themes typically remain the same: sadness over losses- spouses, children, friends, finances and our changing bodies. We experience common feelings of loneliness, fearfulness, isolating, and adjusting to the new "norm" for each of us. We can explore these feelings together. With my patients we focus on their individual needs and strengths.
