Sylvia has a particular interest in attachment and trauma, but enjoys working with more general populations as well. She has an array of clinical experiences, working closely with both adolescents and adults in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings, with individuals in drug detoxification and intensive outpatient programs, and with youth and their families in a juvenile court clinic. She has also worked with individuals diagnosed with a variety of mental illnesses who live semi-independently in the community.
