My professional career has been devoted to helping people find their way through the challenges, losses, and crises of life. It seems the practice of psychology has too often focused on what’s wrong, assigning diagnoses to our behaviors, reactions, and even the emotions we experience when trying to deal with these struggles. Over the three decades of my work as a Therapist I have always looked much deeper than the symptoms to first understand a person’s inner world. And I do this with sensitivity, patience, and respect for the individual. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapist working with Adults struggling with Mood Disturbances, including Anxiety and Depression. As a Gottman trained and supervised Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer practical help and hope to couples at any stage of their relationship, from Premarital to Enrichment to Crisis.
