Searching for a therapist can be excruciating. You view therapist profiles hoping for some flicker of connection. Many have searched for a long time, and have had their fill of pop advice & stock treatments. This is where things get serious, and where psychotherapy must tap into deeper, creative forces. Suffering stirs the soul: "Deep calls unto deep ..." (Psalm 42:3). I have worked with post-traumatic losses and issues for my entire career, as well as with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, eating disorder, and sexual victimization and compulsions.
