As a therapist, I seek to provide the sort of mental health services that I would want available to my father, my brother, and even myself. As a Black man, I understand the unique experiences of Black men in America and the ways in which these experiences contribute to mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and stress. I also recognize that Black men are diverse and not a monolith. With this in mind, I believe that Black men deserve care that understands both the uniqueness and diversity of Black men’s experiences, while also having a cultural awareness of the mental health needs of Black men. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. I specialize in individual therapy and have worked with diverse groups including active duty military, veterans, individuals battling addiction, clergy/faith communities, college students, the LGBTQIA+ community, senior adults, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
