About
People often come to see me when they feel stuck, confused, or burdened by emotional states or patterns that cause suffering for themselves or their loved ones. My practice offers a place to slow things down and attend carefully to what may be operating beneath the surface of one’s life. As a psychoanalyst, I work in depth—not simply to relieve symptoms, but to create the conditions in which emotional experiences can be held, thought about, and gradually transformed over time. Dreams are central to this process, often giving form to unconscious emotional life before it can be reflected upon or spoken aloud. View 4 Photos This way of working is often sought by individuals for whom medication or short-term approaches, such as CBT, have not been sufficient. It is not a quick fix and involves a longer-term commitment, but it offers the possibility of a more enduring change in how one thinks, feels, and experiences oneself and others.
