My scope of practice includes Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, and Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders. I provide treatment primarily through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I assist clients in understanding the interrelationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how maladaptive cognitive and emotional patterns can contribute to distress and dysfunctional behavior. Through CBT, clients are supported in identifying, evaluating, and modifying unhelpful thought patterns, thereby reducing emotional distress. I am a mental health affiliate of Southington Pediatric Associates and am listed with the Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington and the Southington Behavioral Health Resource Directory. I actively collaborate with community partners and was awarded the Southington Community Well-Being Grant Initiative and have received two grants from Bread for Life.
