I’ve been a therapist for 25 years and many of my clients are First Responders or Christians. However, I love helping all types of people that are struggling and just want to enjoy their life again. I focus my private practice on the following specialities: Single Event Traumas like accidents, victim of crime, betrayal, etc. Complex Trauma which could include multiple incidents across childhood and adulthood as well as critical incidents at work. I also specialize in Stress/Burnout related to First Responder work and other high stress jobs (like motherhood) as well as Anxiety, OCD, and Phobias (flying, driving, heights, etc) I am Certified in EMDR and use it almost exclusively in my practice. It often gives quicker results but also can be more tolerable for clients when dealing with painful events. I also love that it not only heals past and current issues but can increase your resiliency for future issues as well.
