Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Athens, GA. I work with adult clients experiencing anxiety, which can manifest as fear, overwhelm, mood changes, or even apathy. Clients I work with experience anxiety related to identity development, relationship difficulties, career/academic changes, reactions to current events, health concerns, life transitions, etc. Anxiety is a signal we’ve exhausted our available methods of coping with stress, and need new approaches to improve how we exist in our day-to-day lives. Developing new tools to manage anxious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can help us better cope with our stressors.
