I have treated kids and teens who are experiencing a number of different mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, RAD, self harm, spectrum disorders, addiction, and LGBTQIA+ related issues. I accomplish this through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and the use of EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I approach counseling in a person centered space, putting my client in the drivers seat as to how I can best assist them. Changing your mindset is the first step to improving your life, and I would love to assist you in doing so. View 7 Photos Counseling is not a tool to “fix” yourself, as there is nothing to fix. You are not broken. However, I will be there every step of the way in assisting you to reach your goals. Therapy should be focused on what YOU want to accomplish, not what I think is best.
