I'm Patty Shirley - East Bay Christian Counseling. Attuned Neurofeedback is a very individualized form of therapy. It is a non-invasive, painless form of biofeedback, using no drugs or medications. It has been shown to enhance overall brain function and performance and be effective in reducing traits of ADHD, PTSD, OCD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and more. Electrodes, small sensors on the scalp, record the brain's activity. By giving positive feedback and reinforcement through audible and visual cues on a monitor, Operant Conditioning, it is like playing a video game using only your brain and no controller.
