First and foremost, I am concerned with understanding the full person with whom I am sitting, and not solely their problems or symptoms. This stance stems from a belief that without such careful attention to a person's full scope, the issues people seek help for are often not adequately resolved. Clients who are willing to attempt a process of reflection, dialogue, and practice have typically found my office a safe and useful space to work through their dilemmas and concerns.
