I am a therapist who strives to honor the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. Service is of top priority, and I hope to engage people in dialogue with the support of my own expertise. The most important part of the therapeutic process is the bond or relationship between you and your therapist. After establishing the client/therapist bond, I've seen individuals achieve their goals and make significant improvements in overall wellbeing. It was my experience navigating systems that drove me to therapy. Together, we can identify and name the barriers to self-regulation with curiosity versus judgment. I draw from theorists and practitioners, such as Dr. Joy Degruy and her work on epigenetics and intergenerational trauma. I also draw from the works of Dr. Gabor Mate, MD.
