As a therapist, I love working with children: learning about their families, their strengths, challenges, the problems which are worrying them and affecting their behavior. In our sessions we play and create things together, as play is the medium of communication for children in therapy, equivalent to adults' verbal engagement. Through talk and play, we develop an authentic emotional connection, in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Trust and collaboration are essential to the work of therapy for children as well as adults.
