Hi there! I’m Elaine Andell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the Clinic Director at Ember Mental Wellness. I work with adults (18+) in person in St. Louis, MO, or via telehealth. While I have experience with a variety of populations and presenting concerns, I specialize in supporting individuals with complex trauma, as well as individuals navigating self-harm, thoughts of suicide, or moments of crisis. My approach is rooted in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for trauma and PTSD, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have received specialized post-graduate training in each of these modalities.
