Hello, it’s so nice to meet you! My name is Elaine, but you can call me Laney. The most important part of counseling services to me is the therapeutic relationship between the client and the counselor. As we establish a close bond, I promise to meet you where you’re at in this delicate process of emotional and mental healing. Counseling with me is focused on your comfort, trust, and autonomy. I will help you increase your level of self-awareness and identify barriers that impede on personal growth and overall well-being by utilizing empirically based therapies. I assure you; you will be in good hands. I connect well with adolescents and and adults of any age. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives in order to gain an understanding of their current challenges in hopes to direct positive change and a sense of wholeness. I believe the client should remain autonomous in their sessions and always feel heard and respected.
