My psychotherapeutic work centers on cultivating internal awareness as a way of navigating life’s obstacles and transitions. Becoming more fully present can open pathways to inner clarity and facilitate shifts to longstanding behavioral patterns which no longer serve us. Attending to current thoughts and emotions reveal threads that lead back into our history, offering deeper self-understanding. I work with clients on issues such as neurodiversity, family of origin, spirituality and existential concerns, partner relationships and sexuality, and gender considerations. I also work with those struggling with addiction and trauma. I practice from a psychodynamic lens, with the goal of helping you cultivate strategies which endure beyond today’s conditions and concerns. I am an EMDR trained and trauma informed therapist and have experience working with trauma recovery from multiple perspectives, with particular focus on the somatic.
