I view counseling as an opportunity to explore areas of our lives that hold us back from truth, freedom, wholeness, and healthy relationships. I believe all people are broken, but our lives "make sense" in the context of our family background and life experiences. To me, counseling is about exploring that context to build self awareness as well as a space to learn new tools of coping and relating in an accepting environment. I feel it is an honor to hear your story and I deeply hope to create an environment that is safe, trusting, and conducive for the healing power of the counseling relationship.
