I believe that therapy is a place to explore and gain insight into how our early childhood experiences impact our later relationships and functioning. I also believe it is important to build skills and strategies to manage present-day difficulties and distress resulting from those early experiences. My hope is that therapy will both help you understand why you are feeling the way you do as well as give you tools to help you to feel better.
