I am licensed in Mississippi and have over 5 years of experience in the counseling field. My background is working with clients who have experienced trauma, specifically survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and/or child abuse. I also have experience in clients with anxiety and depression and helping clients with self-esteem, life transitions, communication, parenting stress, and relationships. I use an eclectic approach including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as a client-centered approach in working with clients based on the client's specific needs. I also love to incorporate mindfulness practices and have found this to be helpful for many clients.
