Seeking help might feel uncomfortably vulnerable. My primary purpose is to help clients feel safe and accepted by creating a nonjudgmental, therapeutic relationship. I appreciate working with individuals, groups, and couples with diverse cultural identities. I recognize that clients live within complex social and institutional systems and that their lives may be impacted by systemic forces outside their control. With this awareness, I help clients identify aspects of their lives within their control, center areas in which they find meaning, and take actions that align with their values.
