As a child and adolescent therapist I bring warmth and compassion to my work. I have earned the confidence of my clients and admiration from my colleagues for my skills and expertise. I work with children and teenagers to feel more capable and confidant as they move through the challenges, excitement, and opportunities of their childhood. In my practice I work along side parents to develop a child's sense of safety, their capacity to manage their behaviors or self-regulate, enhance their feelings of connection and trust in themselves and others, enhance their capacity for play and learning, and deepen their self understanding. I have helped hundreds of children and families overcome and manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and conflict with parents, siblings, and peers. I work with parents to guide them and help them feel assured in their most important role of raising emotionally healthy children to be independent adults in the 21st century.
