Healing Hearts Therapy provides Individual, Family, and Group Mental Health Counseling for children ages 6 and above, adolescents, teens, and adults, of all abilities. Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) utilizes Animal Assisted Interactions (AAI) combined with individualized client goals. Research has shown AAT can assist in decreasing symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Social Anxiety, Difficult Life Transitions, as well as Grief and Loss. It has also been proven to increase Empathy, Emotional Regulation, Communication, Positive Coping Skills, Self Awareness, with the physical benefits of lowering heart rate and blood pressure! View 8 Photos Healing Hearts partners with The Legacy Ranch for Individual and/or Group Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). Sessions can include grooming, walking, setting up obstacles, art, journaling, meditation, and more, in a safe and supportive environment. Other Animal Assisted Education (AAE) is offered at Sarahs Stables with ponies and a variety of farm animals!
