“You are beautiful because you know your own darkness, and still, that does not stop you from finding your light” (R.M.Drake). This quote speaks to me. As I have had to navigate my own darkness I have been compelled to see my inner light. My journey has taught me that a change in perspective fosters self-growth and knowledge. Navigating life’s anxieties are tough. Struggling with our personal demons can keep us in a cycle of negative thought diminishing the sight of hope. Life presents us with a tricky balance between our shadow and light selves. Therapy is a great way to find a path to our truest being. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, sexual assault, attention deficit, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, schizophrenia, intermittent explosive disorder, end of life and isolation issues, dissociative disorders, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, and substance abuse disorders.
