What if you didn't have to teach your therapist how to help you effectively? What if your therapist already had experience treating others with DID, so that you weren't her first or only DID client? People with DID struggle more than most to find competent care and this has motivated me to gain the skills and experience to help guide you from where you are to where you want to be. I will never know what it is like to live with DID - that's where you are the expert. What I bring is warmth, caring, and knowledge of what others with DID have found helpful. Together, we can tailor a plan of support for your unique situation and goals. Having worked with DID clients before, I can serve as a guide and resource for making life with DID more manageable- so that you can get on with living while we work together on healing. You will learn how to improve communication and cooperation within your system so that there is less involuntary switching, amnesia, conflict and confusion.
