I enjoy seeing individuals (including therapists) who are working on resolving complex trauma and couples who are dealing with high conflict/unresolved conflict. I maintain a small, specialized practice in these areas. I have two Master's degrees in counseling and 30+ yrs experience. I practice in the states of Illinois and Michigan. I'm a trauma-sensitive psychotherapist, EMDRIA-certified in using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) through telehealth. EMDR is an exciting approach to trauma response that can often very quickly and successfully help resolve immediate trauma and clear long-term emotional blocks. I focus on clients with complex trauma and couples with unresolved conflict because I enjoy seeing my clients recognize their potential. I love seeing couples discover the intimacy that lies behind conflict they have left unresolved or ignored. I offer adjunct EMDR to individuals already in therapy with clinicians who don't do EMDR.
