There are a lot of ways to practice therapy. One crucial aspect of any "good" therapy is that it helps you expand your curiosity and open-mindedness about yourself - who you have been, who you are, and who you would like to be. Towards this aim, I listen with a commitment to my own openness, mindful of our shared humanity. As a clinical social worker and psychoanalyst, I see folks with a range of concerns from diverse cultural backgrounds. I work relationally and think contextually, knowing our social worlds are integral to who we are. I have a specialty in integrative psychotherapy and contemporary psychoanalysis with queer, transgender, and non-binary adults and have completed training in EMDR and mind-body-medicine. I have more than 20 years of clinical experience, including many in hospitals and community health settings.
