Ellen is a licensed mental health counselor associate who greatly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families. Her journey to becoming a therapist began after working with and caring for children for over ten years and seeing the mental health need within the community. Ellen believes that facilitating positive change starts with a strong therapeutic bond between the counselor and client. Ellen uses a client-centered approach to therapy in conjunction with cognitive-behavioral strategies and play therapy techniques.
