About

I'm a psychiatrist/therapist who partners with people using psychotherapy to understand themselves and their relationships throughout their lifetime, so that they can move forward in a way that feels satisfying to them. I especially enjoy working with young adults as they navigate their growing independence. I believe that the more we understand about ourselves and our lifetime of experiences, the better able we are to make choices and form relationships that are helpful and supportive to us. I also work with parents who are wanting to understand more about their children and how to have a more satisfying connection with them. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy, which emphasizes exploration of feelings and relationships, past and present. I meet with clients at least once weekly to promote deep understanding and growth. I do not prescribe medication.
