I work with clients seeking a compassionate person-centered approach to therapy. Specifically, a client who wants to be heard, seen and understood. My goal is to be empathetic, trusting and reflect the client's feelings and needs. It is all about the client's needs and their unique and individual situation. I do not stereotype or judge. The relationship and rapport are the centerpiece of my practice. If a trusting relationship is created, the amount of work and healing that can be done is amazing. Specific therapies I like to utilize include mindfulness, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). However, the approach changes based on the client's needs. The goal is for the client to discover healthy thinking, feeling and behaving. One specialty is surgery/injury recovery and rehab. Helping clients navigate recovery.
