Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in New Jersey and LMHC-D in NY. I studied Forensic Psychology and completed my Bachelor’s degree at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I went on to complete my Master’s degree at St. Johns University in NYC where I studied Mental Heath Counseling. I help clients actively seeking change and are motivated to do the work required. These clients are willing to explore their own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a reflective and honest way. They don’t resist the process of identifying cognitive distortions or unhealthy patterns. The first session of therapy is an opportunity for my clients to understand the therapeutic process, clarify their goals, and begin developing a relationship with me. During our first meeting together, I’ll review logistics, such as billing, HIPAA and confidentiality, and mandated reporting.
