Hi there! My name is Emily Newberry. I became a licensed professional counselor in 2001 but have been working with individuals and families for 30 years. However, I will work with children and adolescents who are experiencing obsessive compulsive symptoms, as long as parents are willing to be strongly involved in the therapeutic process. I utilize evidence-based practices such as I-CBT and ERP for OCD and anxiety, and SPACE treatment for parents of anxious children. I am a clinical hypnotherapist and have found that hypnotherapy helps clients feel relief quickly when they are stuck or emotionally unavailable.
