About
The stories we tell shape our lives. Unfortunately, many of the stories we've been told are bleak and oppressive - and we respond with things like shame, anxiety, and depression. Together, we can tell different stories that let us see ourselves as full people with interesting lives (that we are excited to live!). I provide individual and family therapy to teenagers and adults looking for support through life transitions - identity exploration, grief & loss, changes in family structure, healing from trauma, building confidence, growing community - to name a few. Narrative therapy and liberation psychology guide my practice - finding pathways towards healing from the dehumanizing effects of systemic oppression. Our meetings will feel conversational, interesting, and experientially unique. Clients have said that I ask questions they've never been asked before, that challenge them to "dig deep" and "do the work".
