Being a parent is the most challenging job out there, even when things at home are going well. But, when our children face difficulties such as academic challenges, social conflict, or behavioral issues, it is heartbreaking. One is uncertain what steps to take. Children do not always know how to verbalize their emotions. Teenagers close their doors and communicate with their friends on devices. Parents are lost in how to help. This is where I come in. As a mental health professional, I bridge the gap with parents and their children to improve their symptoms as well as the parent and child relationship.
