Emma began her therapy career working with children and families impacted by trauma and abuse and has sought out further training and specialization in trauma work and attachment focused healing. Since then, Emma has worked in private practice with teens and adults and in hospital settings with seniors. Emma specializes in treating clients with depression and anxiety, clients experiencing major life changes, and clients with a history of trauma. Emma combines evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.) with relational approaches (attachment focused, psychodynamic, client centered, etc.). This allows clients to begin to better understand themselves and develop skills to cope with the stressors of daily life while also developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
