I am extraordinarily passionate about assisting individuals with developing minds, and/or those who feel stagnate, to overcome obstacles in finding success. Throughout my 20-year career I've dealt with a wide range of folks, all carrying a vast array of diagnosis and/or addictions, in a variety of settings. I work with those ages 12 and up, specializing with adolescents and dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental heath issues and addiction). The therapeutic process can foster growth, garner insight, provide validation, and assist with emotional regulation, all leading to self improvement, which is something we should all subscribe to. View 5 Photos My mental health pursuit began after suffering from panic attacks in my 20's leading to interactions with a psychiatrist who treated this anxiety-ridden patient as if she were "crazier" than she felt. I then vowed to do what I could to help normalize mental health issues for others by pursuing a career in counseling. I'm now navigating the terrain of ADHD.
