I have two decades of experience treating clients with mental health and/or substance abuse problems. I also have experience treating clients who are having relationship problems or are going through a difficult situation and need help getting past it in a healthy way. My goal is for my clients to have a good quality of life; I want them to feel that life is not something to get through but something for them to enjoy. In our first session, we'll work on helping the client feel comfortable in therapy and on gettin a better idea of how best to help them. I also like them to leave with something to help them start to work on their issue right away.
