I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, registered art therapist, hold a certificate in Somatic Experiencing and am formally trained in EMDR. I specialize in supporting reducing trauma symptoms and helping people struggling with anxiety and panic attacks. Through utilizing somatic based interventions it can support increased feelings of calm and relaxation in the body. It is often times the tension patterns in our body that contribute to anxiety, feelings of panic and that reinforce trauma related patterns. We will explore not only thoughts and behavior patterns that have been shaped by experiences but also their impact on the body and nervous system.
