Every individual has experienced internal conflict regarding their mental health. Some of those we navigate just fine on our own and that is awesome! Other times we need some guidance, new ideas on how to effectively communicate, affirmations that we "do hard things", or to have our views on a situation challenged so we can come back with greater understanding and additional empathy. My approach to mental health is very open, accepting, and direct. We will build on current and past success, introduce different ways to communicate and challenge faulty thinking. We will do these things all while respecting your time and finances. I see mental health through the lens of a father, husband, educator, friend, ally, and more.
