The painful experiences of life often mark us in ways that are unexplainable and at times, leave us feeling beyond repair. I believe that every individual's story is found in their unique social, cultural, and relational experiences. Our early experiences lay the groundwork for our present-day functioning and deserve the time and care to understand them with depth and nuance. Together we will work to understand and bring light to parts of your story that may feel unclear, painful, and confusing. I work with individuals experiencing difficulties with present-day functioning and relationships due to stressors/trauma from early childhood/adulthood. I also work with minors (3-12) to offer support during transitions due to divorce or parental-child conflict. My patients aim to not just decrease symptoms but to have richer emotional and relational lives.
