Finding the "right" therapist can feel overwhelming and it's one of the first important decisions you'll make on this journey. My goal is to make this process a little easier by offering a safe, warm and affirming space where you can feel heard and understood. Throughout my time volunteering with survivors of interpersonal violence and at-promise youth, I've come to learn that we must consider larger cultural and societal factors in order to truly honor your unique story. Therefore, it's not uncommon for us to consider how larger systems impact your experiences in therapy. I work with children, adolescents and adults exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, healing race-based trauma, and those experiencing relationship or familial concerns. I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience that thrives on genuineness and authenticity, therefore I show up as my full self, unmasked and pretty easygoing.
