I strive to be the most effective therapist I can be for my clients. For me, being effective means helping clients succeed in learning new skills, developing upon skills they already have, and reaching their goals. In other words, helping my clients get to a place where they don’t need my services anymore. Compassion for others and wanting to help people is what started me on the path to becoming a therapist, but seeing my clients grow stronger and succeed is what makes me want to come to work every day. View 10 Photos While I enjoy working with all populations, my specialty area is gender identity and gender expression. Approximately 90% of my clients identify as transgender or non-binary. I'm well aware of the marginalization of this population, which makes me strive to be the strongest ally I can be. I am incredibly honored to be able to work with these individuals.
