I am very passionate about working with adolescents and their families! This is such a crucial time in our brain's development, and my goal in therapy is to assist my client's and their parents in learning how to manage the complexities of this dynamic period of life. Teenage years are a time of rapid growth and desire for autonomy. This can be very disruptive to the family system without the proper tools to manage the overwhelming emotions that adolescence is infamously known for, and unfortuantely some teens turn to unhelpful coping tools to avoid discomfort and stress.
