Joining you in the process of clarifying your values, context, and emotional learnings to face what's holding you back is the foundation of my approach. Before becoming a social worker, I spent more than 20 years in higher education. My Ph.D. in history provides a unique depth of knowledge and empathetic understanding of the many types of trauma that arise from living in our complex world. I specialize in culturally sensitive and trauma-informed therapy and am adept at working with a wide array of identities. I am especially passionate about healing grief, trauma, and attachment wounds. My work is rooted in neuroscience, harnessing the brain's natural healing processes to accompany clients as they accomplish deep transformation in a safe and supportive environment. Utilizing experiential methods like Internal Family Systems, I guide clients in navigating their healing journey to see the changes they want in their lives.
