About

I work primarily with clients who have more than one issue they want to address; multiple mental health diagnoses, mental illness and physical illness/pain, or relationship issues (parenting support, intimate relationships, family issues) due to mental health/addiction struggles. I started my career in addiction counseling about 17 years ago and then sought to learn about other mental health issues that typically go along with it. This grew my knowledge in ADHD, Trauma, OCD, Eating Disorders, and helping loved ones of addicts too! I am also an EMDR therapist for those looking for deeper work. My typical client is someone who wants a therapist who will be more actively engaged in the therapy session by questioning, teaching and making suggestions. My knowledge of relationships and trauma also helps us dive deeper into the question “why do I keep doing (blank) and how can I stop.”
