About

As a LPC, my goal is to help my clients explore the root of their distress, identify needs and wants and work toward a more balanced life. I hope to empower my adolescent and adult clients to practice self-care and healthy coping. I have also been working with students in school settings for over 20 years, as a Special Education Teacher and then as a School Counselor and Student Assistance Counselor. I have helped my students develop executive functioning skills, organizational skills, and goal setting to help them transition into their future endeavors while supporting their mental health needs and substance abuse issues.
