My training as a social worker is centered around a strength-based and empowering approach. I serve adults (18+ ) struggling with challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship/life changes, chronic health conditions, grief and loss, and complex trauma. Non-appropriate referrals would include those currently struggling with significant substance misuse or would benefit from long term therapeutic care with case management. I had the honor of completing a "Foundations of Polyvagal Informed Practice Clinical Training Series" and therefore a deep look at the nervous system to promote regulation is integrated into the sessions. Our time together would be spent exploring the interplay of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with an undercurrent of self-compassion and a nervous system lens. One of my greatest honors is bearing witness to others coming back home to the truest version of themselves.
