I am a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified music therapist at And Still We Rise, LLC. My therapeutic approach centers decolonial and liberatory frameworks, and is relational, resource-oriented, holistic, trauma-informed, and collaborative—grounded in an awareness of the societal, cultural, political, environmental, spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects that shape each client’s experience and well-being. I believe in co-creating a culturally affirming therapeutic space where clients can connect with their own power and agency in their healing process, and deepen their understanding of self and their inner world.
