The world is full of stress and each individual sees the world and their stress uniquely. I believe that there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy and I prioritize meeting the individual where they are. A client's self-awareness and choices are key to developing self-direction and independence. My techniques will include interventions from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Narrative, Emotion Focused and other systemic approaches. I believe success in counseling comes from a strong rapport and trustworthy working relationship between counselor and client. I operate from a strengths-based and encouragement-focused approach. I am unable to prescribe medication to clients. Some clients need only a few counseling sessions to achieve these goals, while others may require more counseling.
