Aloha. I'm a Clinical Social Worker Licensed and Credentialed in Hawai'i. I was raised in Waiʻanae on the island of Oʻahu, and received my social work degrees from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. With over 20 years of experience serving local communities, I developed an understanding of numerous complex issues affecting the mental health of Hawai'i residents and their families. Therapy allows us to talk with someone about the things that bother us, no matter how big or small. Everyone's healing journey is different, so the way I provide therapy will be unique to you and your needs. I specialize in therapy for older teens, adults, and elders. My areas of expertise are men's health, family and relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver burnout, life coaching and personal growth. I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach in therapy with the integration of activities guided by cultural values.
